Mexican coffee is a rich, aromatic beverage brewed with dark-roasted beans and infused with warm spices like cinnamon, nutmeg, and a hint of cocoa. With some cream added its a warm hug in a mug!

- 1 Tbsp brown sugar or powdered sugar
- 1 Tbsp unsweetened cocoa powder
- 1/4 tsp ground cinnamon
- 1/4 tsp ground nutmeg
- 1/8 tsp ground cayenne
- 1/3 cup whole milk or half and half
- Warmed whipped cream optional
Mix the sugar, cocoa powder, cinnamon, nutmeg and ground cayenne together in a large mug.
Pour in the coffee.
Pour in the warm milk or half and half.
Top with a dollop of whipped cream, if desired.
