Finally a cookie you don't have to turn the oven on for! These sweet and fun little bits almost melt in your mouth and ones the kids will love. They have a very satisfying nice surprise with the addition of the peanut butter and combined with the chocolate is amazing!
110ozjar maraschino cherries, well drained and finely chopped
Instructions
In a large saucepan, combine sugar, butter, milk and cocoa. Bring to a boil, stirring constantly. Cook and stir 3 minutes.
Remove from heat; stir in peanut butter and extracts until blended. Stir in oats and cherries. Drop mixture by tablespoonfuls onto waxed paper-lined baking sheets. Refrigerate for two hours and store in airtight containers.
