Ingredients
  

  • 1 ½ cup unsalted butter / 342g room temperature
  • 4 cups confectioners' sugar / 440g
  • ¼ cup heavy cream 60mL added as needed
  • ½ cup crushed Oreos / 120g
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract / 5mL

Instructions
 

  • Beat the unsalted butter on medium speed until smooth and creamy, about 2–3 minutes.
  • Gradually add the confectioners sugar, one cup at a time, mixing on low speed until combined, then increasing to medium speed until smooth and fluffy.
  • Mix in the crushed Oreos and vanilla extract, beating until fully incorporated.
  • Add heavy cream gradually, starting with ¼ cup, and beat until you achieve your desired consistency, adding more cream as needed.
  • Continue to beat on high for 1–2 minutes until light and fluffy, then spread or pipe onto cakes, cupcakes, or other desserts.
