
Oreo Buttercream
Oreo buttercream is a creamy, indulgent frosting made with crushed Oreo cookies, butter, and powdered sugar, offering a perfect blend of sweet and slightly crunchy texture. Its rich, chocolatey flavor with a hint of vanilla makes it a decadent topping for cakes, cupcakes, and cookies.

Ingredients
- 1 ½ cup unsalted butter / 342g room temperature
- 4 cups confectioners' sugar / 440g
- ¼ cup heavy cream 60mL added as needed
- ½ cup crushed Oreos / 120g
- 1 tsp vanilla extract / 5mL
Instructions
- Beat the unsalted butter on medium speed until smooth and creamy, about 2–3 minutes.
- Gradually add the confectioners sugar, one cup at a time, mixing on low speed until combined, then increasing to medium speed until smooth and fluffy.
- Mix in the crushed Oreos and vanilla extract, beating until fully incorporated.
- Add heavy cream gradually, starting with ¼ cup, and beat until you achieve your desired consistency, adding more cream as needed.
- Continue to beat on high for 1–2 minutes until light and fluffy, then spread or pipe onto cakes, cupcakes, or other desserts.
